Variable Speed Pumps
Newtown Pools offers the new line of Jandy EPumps. EPumps allow the customer to automatically change the RPMs of your motor for different pool applications. Now some people think if you cut the speed in half your only cutting your savings in half, which is untrue. The Pump Affinity Law states that if you cut the RPM's of your motor in half, you circulate half the water, but us only 1/8th the energy! Lets say you fun your pool for 8 hours a day. If you run it 16 hours a day at half speed, you will only use 1/8th the energy you normally would and still filter the same amount of water!! Heat Pump Technology
Newtown Pools offers the Aqua Comfort Heat Pump. Heat pumps fun on electricity, and work like reverse air conditioners, taking the heat from the surrounding air, compressing it, and putting it into your pool water. Unlike combustion heaters, which are approx 85% efficient, heat pumps are approx 500% efficient. That means for every $.20 cents of electricity you put into it, your getting out $1.00 dollars worth of heat. Just think of how much money you will save over the course of the next 10 pool seasons!
Salt Chlorine Generation
Our state of the art salt chlorine generators completely eliminate your need to ever buy chlorine and shock ever again! With a salt chlorine generator, we simply add a trace amount of normal table salt into your pool. We then install the salt cell and control box, and through the process of electrolysis, the salt is converted into chlorine and then back into salt.
